- El desgarro posterosuperior del manguito rotador (PSRCT), independientemente de la gravedad del desgarro del cable rotador, no induce un deterioro biomecánico funcionalmente significativo.
- La extensión del desgarro que afecta a todo el tejido del manguito rotador por encima del centro de rotación geométrico de la cabeza humeral da como resultado un deterioro funcional evidente.
- Para el desgarro posterosuperior del manguito de los rotadores (PSRCT), el tejido restante del manguito de los rotadores por encima del centro de rotación geométrico puede contribuir a la preservación de la función del hombro en pacientes con RCT.
