El propósito de este estudio fue analizar una población de pacientes con artroplastia total reversa de hombro bilateral (RTSA) para evaluar su capacidad para realizar actividades de la vida diaria y tareas de higiene personal.
La RTSA bilateral proporciona un alivio del dolor predecible y una función mejorada. Las prácticas de higiene no se alteran para la mayoría de los pacientes, y los otros pacientes desarrollan rápidamente estrategias compensatorias simples y conservan la independencia en las actividades de la vida diaria.
